SCG PHILIPPINES AND MARIWASA FOCUSED IN HELPING COMMUNITIES IN THEIR FIGHT AGAINST COVID19

MANILA, PHILIPPINES l SEPTEMBER 2021: SCG Philippines and Mariwasa recently turned over Oxygen Concentrators, PPE Suit Medical Grade to two major hospitals in Metro Manila and to the Municipality of Sto. Tomas, Batangas to support our frontliners in the continued fight against COVID-19. The innovative equipment help protect the medical frontliners and  prevent the spread of the virus through a medical device that gives extra oxygen.

SCG and Mariwasa donated ten (10) oxygen concentrator and 300 PPE Suit Medical Grade to Sta. Ana Hospital in Manila and fifteen (15) oxygen concentrators and 500 PPE Suit Medical Grade to Lung Center of the Philippines in Quezon City last September 21, 2021. Present in the awarding are Thailand Ambassador to the Philippines – His Excellency Vasin Ruangprateepsaeng, SCG Country Director Jakkrit Suwansilp, and VP for Finance and Admin Ms. Emilie B. Maramag together with Sta. Ana Hospital Director Dra. Grace Padilla and Lung Center of the Philippines Excecutive Director Dr. Vincent Balanag Jr.

As part of their initiative to help the community, SCG and Mariwasa also donated ten (10) oxygen concentrators, 200 PPE Suit Medical Grade, and one (1) desktop computer to the local government of Sto. Tomas City, Batangas.

An oxygen concentrator is a type of medical device used for delivering oxygen to individuals having a hard time breathing. Individuals whose oxygen concentration in their blood is lower than normal often require an oxygen concentrator to replace that oxygen. This device will help the COVID-19 patients during their medication. The Medical Grade PPE will help and protect our medical frontliners who treat our patients in getting infected.
